Identifying your Social Media Audience

Social Media audiences usually fall into the following categories:

  1. Creators: these are the publishers, and bloggers.
  2. Critics: these are the commentators, forum members, and people reviewing and rating.
  3. Collectors: users voting on websites and adding tags.
  4. Conversationalists: users that update their social profiles and posts messages/tweets.
  5. Spectators: these are the consumers of information.
  6. Joiners: users that create social media profiles.
  7. Inactives: don’t really do any of the above.
